You Ever Notice How . . .
Life gets in the way?
Well, this week has been one of those week. Hence my pitifully short blog here, which I'm hoping my cohorts will understand.
(We won't talk about the 100+ unread emails in my inbox. I'm telling you . . . it's been one of those weeks.)
So this is a lazy post. But! Hopefully, it's beneficial.
What I want to know is this . . . what are the writer/reader topics you're interested in? What would you like to see us blog about here? Don't be shy! Join in! Leave your suggestions in the comments section.
And I'll see you next week. :-)

How do you know you have a plot that isn't contrived or unbelievable?
How do you know it is a tight plot, something that doesn't require a bunch of subplots to get the word mileage you need?
How much research is necessary? It seems as if so many romantic suspense writers have an 'in' -- I mean, know someone who is a cop or an FBI agent or whatever. What about those of us who don't? How much do you really have to *know* about a subject (cop life, profiling, baking muffins, take your pick!) before writing about it?
I know it's easy to get hung up on doing research to the point that you've foresaken doing any actual writing. How do you go about achieving the right balance so that you know just enough about a subject without the subject itself becoming a distraction?
I have another one -- how do you let go of your characters so that you can start writing another book, with another set of characters?
